Grant Toghill has grown up in the consituency and previously stood for council for the Bishopton, Bridge of Weir & Langbank ward in 2022.
A software engineer by trade, Grant lived in Erskine for 26 years before moving to Bishopton where he now lives. A local campaigner who has campaigned locally on issues ranging from the need for a new high school for Dargavel to calling for more support to prevent a closure a local veterans’ care home.
Grant is a local youth group leader and has a keen interest in young people getting the best chance at life and making sure that local facilities are available and meet the needs of the community.
Renfrewshire has two governing parties that have been in power too long.
13 years of the out-of-touch Conservatives trashing our economy, squeezing budgets, robbing from the poor to feed the rich.
16 years of the SNP who have lost sight of supporting our local services, taking responsibility for their actions and have seem to run out of ideas.
The people of Paisley and Renfrewshire North deserve a fresh new voice that would stand up for the local community first and fight for a fair deal for it.
Scottish Liberal Democrats are resilient and we will keep fighting for our communities.
Back Grant in the General Election and see what we can do for you.
